About
By day I design and build medical devices - currently audiology and hearing technology, before that neuromuscular monitors used in operating theatres. That means a lot of embedded firmware, software, PCB layout, regulatory paperwork, and root-cause investigations that run later into the night than planned.
Outside of working hours I love making things - usually to solve problems around the house or workshop. This can range from a toy wheelbarrow built during one naptime, to a multi-year obsession with making wooden bolts (ongoing). I found these projects often get buried in my camera roll (if I even take photos), and so the aim of this website is to document the projects in a way I can share them more easily and hopefully provide some value to others.
